Humberto Mendoza wont go to River. His club, Atletico Nacional wasnt happy about the economical propouse. The player really want to play in River, but the offers form Russia and Mexico are better for the club.

Im praying for Buonanotte to stay, cause he is the last jewl form the younger divsions. But JOSE MARIA AGUILAR, the club`s president, is the biggest and most disgusting thief in all times.

It would be very sad for River to lose a player to Qutar… He should stay for another season or two and move to Europe like any other good South American player. I spent the summer of 06 in BA and attended the River-Libertad CL match. Try to keep my eye on them a bit now though I don’t find it as easy to follow as Europe.

it was a rather disaterous season for river.

just two tid bits of info
1.River have almost sold Diego Buonanotte to a club in Qatar. At around 15 million dollars. This is obviously for the $.

2.Humberto Mendoza will arrive on loan from Atletico Nacional (COL)

Welcome back.

For me 2008 cemented my loyalty to River, from my first trip to El Monumental (sadly I could not get a ticket for the last game of the Clausura as I was new to Buenos Aires) and the victory celebrations in the heart of the city, to the pain caused by what was to come after that.

But now it’s time to put the past few months behind us..Vamos River!
