Pipita Campeon!

Congratulations to Gonzalo “Pipita” Higuain and Real Madrid, 2006/2007 Champions of Spain. Higuain came in as a substitute, and had a superb assist to setup the first goal by Jose Reyes.
It was only last October that I was in the Monumental, singing along with 60,000 River fans for the Superclasico, and witnessed Pipita’s two incredible goals during that amazing 3-1 win over Boca, seen here and here. A few months later that I saw him score his last goal in a River jersey away at Velez.
Mucha suerte pipita en tu futuro. Hopefully this will be the first of many trophies to come.
