I think Aguilar is an idiot but he's not a big enough idiot to know that letting a player like Ortega (who means a whole crapload to the fans) leave, would be suicide. The assistant coach was coming down despite the lack of interest for the Ortega deal (Ortega could have tripled his salary) because FC Dallas is trying to set up a inter-team player exchange giving our young talent a chance to head to MLS to sow their oats.
