…Bonjour Lyon

River Plate will head into a decisive match with French Ligue champions Olympique Lyonnais tomorrow night in the final Group B match of the Peace Cup. River have played solidly throughout the tournament, being staged in Korea, and a draw will be enough to send los millonarios through to the final against Group A winners, Bolton Wanderers of the EPL. The winner of the tournament receives the above trophy, but more importantly, a $2M prize.
This should be a much more difficult match for Daniel Passarella’s squad, but Lyon are coming off a 1-0 loss to Reading FC, and things seem to be clicking for River at the right time. As such, El Kaiser will be fielding the same starting XI as with the two previous wins. Danilo Gerlo, who was shown a red card in the previous match against Shimizu S-Pulse, will start, having paid a fine to do so.
I’m going to do my best to get a hold of this match, so no posts until later in the afternoon.
River Plate Line-up:
Ojeda
Ferrari Tuzzio Gerlo Villagra
Belluschi Ponzio Augusto Fernández Abelairas
Rosales Marco Ruben
